Establishing well-defined objectives helps us push Thrive Events to greater heights of success. Puneh, our company President, perfectly captured our commitment to setting goals when she stated, “We always say not having goals is like playing basketball without a hoop; you have nothing to shoot for. Goal setting is the key to both personal and team development, which we have learned from the benefits we see every day around our office.”
Our current objectives revolve around further expansion for Thrive Events. Puneh explained, “We’ve added five new brands to our portfolio this year, so we want to keep that positive momentum going. We’re also proud of Emily, who is our newest assistant manager. I look forward to game planning for expansion with her, and to other team members getting promoted in the coming months.”
Around our office, we’ve found that talking about our objectives both one-on-one and as a team helps us all stay accountable. We’re more likely to follow through on the benchmarks we set if we discuss them with our colleagues.
Our President added, “We need to hold ourselves accountable for getting just one percent better every day. The only way to do that is to look at our strengths and weaknesses so we can create plans for real improvement. We think about the steps we need to take to reach our goals, breaking things down into increments of seven, 30, 60, 90, or however many days we think we need.”
We’re excited for what the rest of 2017 will bring to Thrive Events.
